Exceptions to Confidentiality

I may share any information with the relevant authorities including the following:

  • If you threaten harm to yourself or to another person.

  • If a person is at risk of abuse or harm.

  • If the courts instruct me to give information by court order.

I will always discuss with you if any of the above exceptions to confidentiality arise and explain the reasoning behind breaching confidentiality in these rare instances, unless doing so would present further risk.
